Why I Became a Chiropractor
“I hurt my back 25 years ago working construction. After medical doctors could not help me, I went to a Chiropractor. WOW! What a difference! The Chiropractor found my problem, and the adjustments fixed me as good as new. I really became a believer in Chiropractic care. Your body doesn’t lie; it knows whether the treatment works or not. From that time on, I wanted to be a Chiropractor. I finally made the commitment and went back to school for 6 1/2 years to get my Doctor’s Degree. It was the best decision I ever made. I love helping sick people get well with my hands.”
A Strong Educational Foundation
Most people are unaware of the rigorous training required to become a Chiropractor. Classes include most of the same ones required for a medical doctor: anatomy, physiology, pathology, orthopedics and diagnosis. However, Chiropractors must take about 240 additional hours in classes than a medical doctor to get a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
