Cervical Traction

Millions of people suffer from neck pain and/or other symptoms associated with the neck. In most of these cases, the problem can be attributed to poor posture and improper curvature in or alignment of the cervical spine. Whether the vertebrae in your neck are misaligned due to postural problems caused by spending hours each day hunched over a computer or staring at a phone or tablet, a car accident, or improper sleep posture, though, there is a solution. Abnormal cervical lordosis can adversely affect nerve, ligament, and muscle function. As shown in numerous research studies, those adverse effects can be reversed by correcting cervical lordosis, relieving pain and improving overall health.

Cervical denneroll is a custom device when in use, the denneroll is placed under the patient’s neck while they lie on their back. It may be placed under the lower, middle, or upper neck depending on exactly where the curvature needs to be corrected. In the beginning, the patient typically lays on the pillow for about three minutes per session. Over time, they work up to 20-minute sessions. The denneroll works to gradually restore appropriate spinal curvature to alleviate pain and discomfort while improving range of motion.
